Jonah and the Whale
In the „Jonah Book“ of the Old Testament is told the story of theProphet Jonah, who lives three days inside the body of a great fish. It istold, that the LORD had instructed Jonah to go to the town Nineveh to prophesythe people there, that their end has come up because of their wickedness. But Jonah knew, that nevertheless the LORD in his great goodness will sparethe town, and Jonah didn’t want to do a wrong prophecy. So Jonah fledfrom the LORD, that he had not to do a prophecy, which will not become true.So Jonah run away from the LORD and went aboard a big ship. When the LORDsent a great wind, the sailors called Jonah to account for that violent storm. They were afraid. To save their own life, the sailors threw Jonah into thesea. But the LORD provided a great fish to swallow Jonah, and Jonah was insidethe fish three days and three nights. Then the fish vomited Jonah on dryland. Now Jonah went to Nineveh to prophesy the people their end becauseof their wickedness. The people were so shocked, that they did penance andthe LORD had compassion and spared them. Jonah was were angry that his prophecydidn’t become true. But the LORD set Jonah right about the grace ofcompassion.

Mohiar, finestMaterial for Teddybears

Mohair is made from one of nature`s finest sources for natural fiber, the Angora goat. This special fur is very long and naturally wavy. When sheared(this usually occurs twice a year) it is called mohair. The term "mohair"is derived from the Arabian word "Muhayar" which literally means "the fabricof goat hair". Despite the name similarity there is no relation to the Angorarabbit.

The collection of this noble hair does not require any animals to beharmed!

Angora goats are a delicate animal and are very sensitive to temperaturechange. This requires a dependable mild climate. Summers not so hot thatthe meadows dry out and winters not too cold. In the entire world there areonly three regions that consistently meet these ideal conditions: Texas,USA, South Africa and Turkey.

The fur of the Angora go at is naturally white, curly and shiny. Itsfibers have a remarkable strength when made into a pile fabric. Thesecharacteristics together with the noble appearance, silky feel and sheenmake mohair one of the finest fibers offered by nature.
