Design:

• The design of the "Teddy's Bear" is based on Clifford Berryman's world-famous drawing "Drawing the Line in Mississippi" published in the the Washington Post of November 16th 1902 - with large round ears, sewn-in face area and open mouth.
• The open mouth is shaded with airbrush
• with a neck belt made of brown imitation leather
• with a newspaper stick in hand. The front page of the stylized newspaper sheet is made of felt and shows the world-famous cartoon of Clifford Berryman from the Washington Post of November 16th 1902. It shows a little Bear together with the then US President "Theodore (Teddy) Roosevelt, who became the Teddy Bear's eponym. This Washington Post cartoon of November 16th 1902 is widely considered to be the birth hour of the Teddy Bear.
